How to print scores from SheetMusicPlace.com

Note before printing

Pdf scores available on SheetMusicPlace.com are specifically optimized and designed for an optimal reading on iPad, tablet and computer screens. To print them on US Letter or A4 paper, we recommend following the instructions below carefully.

Double page printing on A4 in landscape mode (MAC/PC)

Printing a double page in landscape mode on an A4 makes it possible to reproduce the score as it was conceived in its initial format for iPad. We particularly recommend this mode of printing for vocal scores.

1) Open the pdf file in Adobe Reader

2) Select '' Print ''

3) Choose '' Multiple pages per sheet '' in the Scaling section

4) Select '' 2 '' pages per sheet

5) Start printing

Print single page on A4 in portrait mode (MAC)

CAUTION: Printing a page in portrait mode on an A4 requires you to reduce this page to the print area for better display of the score. This print mode is recommended for piano sheet music and solo instruments not exceeding 4 to 5 pages. Beyond that, reading on iPad, tablet or computer screen may be preferable.

1) Open the pdf file in Preview

2) Select '' Print ''

3) Check "No automatic page scaling"

4) Set "Scale" to 55%

5) Start printing

CAUTION: Printing a page in portrait mode on an A4 requires you to reduce this page to the print area for better display of the score. This print mode is recommended for piano sheet music and solo instruments not exceeding 4 to 5 pages. Beyond that, reading on iPad, tablet or computer screen may be preferable.

We recommend using software that allows you to scale the page at 55%.
