Can i directly lean heavy metal guitar without learning Acoustic Guitar?
I have no idea what a guitar/music is and i wish to learn heavy metal guitar can i do it without learning an acoustic guitar. If yes then give me some advice like which guitar should i purchase,amplifier.
Of course you can. Actually metal isn't a bad place for a beginner to start since a lot of it is power chords which are very easy compared to barre chords for instance. For metal I'd just get a guitar with humbuckers, Ibanez makes some good beginners guitars as do other companies. On a budget here are a few guitars to consider. I would go with the Line 6 Spider 15 for an amp. It's like $99 and you'd be able to play this amp for some time before upgrading. With all of it's built-in effects it really is a good deal. You could buy a $40-$50 dollar amp but by the time you buy just one effects pedal you'd be at the cost of the Spider 15 which has tons of effects and models. The "metal" and "insane" models on this amp are perfect for playing metal. I am also including a link to a great beginners metal video that will have you playing a basic metal rhythm in less than a day. I like the Rock House video better, I have both, but the Rock House is only available in the beginner, intermediate, advance 3 pack. Still a great deal. Enjoy!!
