How has Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire influenced male dancers in America from the 1940's to this modern era.?
Those two moved in two very different "styles" so each influenced dance in different ways. Astaire was very light on his feat and mostly dressed in fancy suits trying to look real high class. Kelly was a he-man getting his body down into the movements and often dressing like a blue collar working man type... very masculine in his moves.
