Alto Sax
Do you think I can go to intermediate band right away from oboe to Alto Sax?
I have been playing Oboe for more than 2 years and I want to try playing the alto sax. The thing is I don't want to go back to basic band. My friends have told me oboe and alto sax have almost the same fingering so do you think I can learn how to play the alto sax in intermediate band?
I majored on oboe in music school and they are close- you're going to have to bargain with the conductors though or you wont get anywhere
